Supporting early learning centres, kindergartens and schools to feel confident in caring for young people with diabetes. Face-to-face or virtual sessions are available for groups of up to 12 staff members, with education tailored to the individual young person.
Insulin Modality
The insulin modality used by the young person, including how it works and what to expect.
Continuous Glucose Monitoring
Understanding continuous glucose monitoring and what the readings mean day to day.
Practical Skills
Hands-on training to feel confident with fingerprick blood glucose checks and insulin injection technique.
Emergency Care
How to give the GlucaGen Hypo Kit™ for severe hypoglycaemia, including remote settings such as school camp.
Camp Support
General guidelines on how to support diabetes care confidently in a camp setting.
Please note: for virtual sessions, families will need to provide the relevant equipment to support the practical components of training.
